Program Meetings, Coffee & Calories

NNMHA holds program meetings throughout the year featuring expert speakers. The public is always invited to attend these meetings free of any charge, typically the last Wednesday of the month. Coffee meetings are informal social gathering once per month primarily during the Winter.

Monthly Trail Rides

Ridge Riders Trail Rides are organized trail rides for enrolled members. Held the first Saturday each month from late spring through early fall, we visit places which are old favorites and explore new ground, too.

We post info, including upcoming dates, rules and reservation form, on the Ridge Riders page.

Clinics and Demonstrations

In keeping with our mission as an educational non-profit, NNMHA arranges clinics and demonstrations in a variety of disciplines. Active participation requires a fee (discounted from usual rates) which includes NNMHA membership to non-members for insurance purposes. Participation is limited, first come-first served, so register early. Auditing is free courtesy of NNMHA, but please register. All attendants are required to sign a liability waiver.

Sponsored Events

Through our Grants Program, NNMHA helps sponsor events produced by other organizers which promote equestrian activities in Northern New Mexico. We're happy to partner with our robust equine community.

Past events

We have enjoyed many educational and recreational activities.
